Welcome to our new Jobs page, which we aim to keep updated with jobs, employment advice, career progression and information on the various routes in to a career in Health and Social Care.
If you are interested in working as a Care Worker, the following link from the Care Sector Alliance documents the different levels of qualifications and possible. It is presented in the format of a Monopoly Board, and as you progress around the board, the various career progressions are illustrated, together with available qualifications.

There are also some useful links which were made available to us from NHS Northwest, which offers advice and employment for newly qualified nurses, midwives and other healthcare professionals.
Hopefully, we will be able to bring you details of employment vacancies at individual Care Homes’, with links to their websites. In the meantime, we have a link to details of all of the Cumbria Care homes, should you wish to contact them and discuss possible job vacancies.
Furthermore, we also have a list of privately-run nursing homes, should you wish to contact them.
